Simon Hart

Simon Hart is a highly experienced sports reporter who has worked for the Daily and Sunday Telegraph since 1989. He specialises in athletics and Olympic sport and has covered six Olympic Games, every World and European athletics championships since 2002, three Commonwealth Games and numerous football and rugby World Cups, Ryder Cups, Open golf championships and Wimbledon tennis championships. He has twice been "highly commended" in the annual Sports Feature Writer of the Year competition.

Simon's experience as a feature writer and news reporter, working alongside colleagues from the tabloid and broadsheet press across a broad range of sports, gives him an in-depth insight into the pressures young sportsmen and women face when dealing with the written media and the pitfalls they may encounter. He is also well versed in the best way to interact with newspaper reporters during in-depth interviews, press conferences and the hurly-burly of the 'mixed zone' at major championships.
