Everyone working with the company is still working at the highest level of print, online and broadcast journalism, and we want use this blog to share our expertise with you.

We provide you regular tips and advice on how to make the media work in your favour, updates on what the company is doing, plus our take on what’s going on in the media world at the moment.

Our aim is to cover every media-related topic that you might be interested in – be it how to cope with the media crisis, how to take control of a TV interview, how to spot a good story, how to do your own PR, or how to manage a press conference. 

Our main blogger is Ann Wright. She’s got over 20 years experience working in newspapers, magazines and as a BBC television producer. She’s produced everything from major state ceremonial occasions to undercover consumer investigations, and she now uses her wide media experience to advise our clients how to make the most out of every media opportunity – as well as producing the odd TV programme now and then!

From time to time other members of the Rough House team also contribute to the blog, and we also ask trusted partners to write guest articles – on subjects such as public relations, social media, communications, and marketing.
