Peter Carlton, Director of Training
eter has 30 years' experience as a journalist, 28 of them in broadcasting. His recent programmes include a series on the emergency rescue services for BBC1 and several series of City Hospital, also for the BBC. As a media trainer, Peter has designed and run courses for industries as varied as IT, telecoms, car manufacturing, education and finance, as well as government agencies and NGOs. He has also trained numerous groups in presentation skills.
Graham Fitzgerald, Director of Production
Graham has reported for national newspapers and produced news and current affairs programmes for the BBC, ITV, and Sky News. He has worked on all the major home and international stories of recent years, including 9/11, the Iraq invasion and the July 7 terror attacks, and is an RTS award winner. He also has considerable experience of online journalism.
Ann Wright, Director of Operations
Ann was a reporter on national newspapers and specialist magazines before joining the BBC where she is now a director and producer. She specialises in investigative journalism, having worked on numerous documentary and consumer programmes such as Watchdog and Britain's Worst. She has also produced many live events including Live Eight and Trooping the Colour.
Rob Curling
Currently a presenter and reporter for the BBC and Sky News, Rob has fronted many network and regional television programmes and has reported on major sporting events including Wimbledon and Open Golf championships, and the Olympic Games. He also commentates live on major news events, and is an aviation expert. In this role he has anchored live on-site broadcasts at many of the world's major air shows.
Gail Downey
Gail has more than 20 years experience as a news journalist and maker of factual programmes for the BBC and ITV. Major stories she has covered include the death of Princess Diana and the Paddington train crash. She currently works for Oxford-based Indie Red Admiral.
Nici Marx
An expert on the Middle East, Nici is a highly experienced journalist and TV presenter. She has fronted programmes for BBC World Television as well as CNN and Sky News, and reported from many of the world's trouble spots.
Sumit Bose
Sumit has 15 years experience as a journalist working in print, radio and TV. He has spent the past 10 years as a reporter and presenter for the BBC, working on news, current affairs and documentary programmes. These include Breakfast News, Inside Out and Holiday on BBC1.
James Cameron
A Cambridge graduate, James has spent 20 years working for the BBC as a reporter, news editor and producer of news and documentary programmes, for television and radio. He also trains journalists for the BBC in newsgathering, film-making and online journalism.
